Red Handling, the handling entity of Norwegian airlines, signed a multi-year contract to operate the XOPS solution for their GSE tracking and Fleet Management in Spain, via their GSE management partner AES.

Data Management System (DMS)

Level 3 of XOPS is the Data Management System (DMS) module that provides a dedicated database to securely receive store, mine and analyse “BIG DATA” to generate client defined information and reports across a community of stakeholders at an airport.

DMS is commonly used to aggregate data from both XOPS Fleet Management System (FMS) and third-party telematics systems to show compliance and conformance against a common set of airport rules or metrics (e.g. speeding, airside parking). Additional use cases can include non-motorised equipment reporting (e.g. location and availability of baggage dollies across and airfield) or the integration of in-vehicle dash camera systems, fixed CCTV network and Operations Management System (OMS).
